In January 2014 thanks to funding from Highland Leader, Biffa Award and Climate Challenge Fund, the Ardersier War Memorial Hall was reopened after a three year closure.
It has been redeveloped to be more environmentally friendly reducing its carbon footprint and running costs. The new Junckers floor (126 sqm) is ideal for sports, social gatherings and meetings of up to 150 people.
In December 2014 we were successful in obtaining £10,000 from Awards for All Scotland to buy new chairs and mobile stage as well as lay a new badminton court, coaching and various sports equipment for all ages and abilities.
It is located on Station Road and is ideal for:
Private parties
- Ceilidhs and discos
- Badminton
- Band practise
- Meetings and elections
- Drama
- Exhibitions

We now have a portable stage, sports equipment, bouncy castle and badminton court also for hire.
Each panel is 1.2 sq.m and there are 15 in total that can be adjusted easily to suit the presentation like a catwalk configuration. We also have an excellent mobile bar (pictures to come) hand made with mahogany tops and plenty of shelving and fridge space.
No kids party would not be complete without a bouncy castle to tire them out (age 11 and under only). We can provide a package deal of hiring the hall for 2 hours plus 30 mins preparation and 30 mins tidy with the castle for £80. Bargain!
If you fancy starting a fitness class with some friends we have a variety of sports equipment to suit all ages. Land hockey, dodgeball, indoor football and of course, the badminton court (awaiting photo with net and stands).
- 2 sets of land hockey sticks with balls and pucks
- Badminton court (stands and net not shown)
- Goals, balls and markers
