Programs like Grand Designs don’t show or detail the paperwork trail and complications that can arise in a renovation project. We’ve had some wonderful support and advice from professionals, friends and other community halls. For anyone out there in a similar position we would be happy to share our story and forewarn of the pitfalls from the funding process right through to the tape cutting ceremony.

Floor from Junckers entirely funded by Biffa Award
All floor and wall insulation, Rockwool for ceiling and windows funded by Climate Challenge Fund.
The majority of the money was awarded by the Highland LEADER program 2007-2013 which paid for the new toilet block, structural, electrical, plumbing and finishing work.
